K-RIC Program & Publications

Imparting an Intense Culture of Interdisciplinary Research & Innovations

KSM is eminent for its long- standing tradition of undertaking cutting-edge research activities across diverse streams. With a strong belief that Research is crucial for the success of students and the overall development of the country, KSM has unveiled its unique initiative – Krupanidhi Research Incubator Centre (K-RIC), to foster interdisciplinary researchin Management. K-RIC was launched with the prime motive of building a robust research culture at KSM by inspiring and igniting young minds towards research leading to innovation and entrepreneurship. The students participating in K-RIC are shortlisted through a Research Aptitude Test that measures the intellectual, innovative, and technical aspects of the candidates. The test is conducted either online or off-line and it includes objective and descriptive sections. The objective section quantifies the intellectual quotient while the descriptive section analyses the candidates for innovative start-up ideas.

K-RIC organizes training programs for both students and faculty members of KSM by collaborating with domain experts of various research institutes, elite organizations and MNCs. This program is further guided and monitored by research mentors from reputed academic and research institutions across India and abroad.

The chief aim of our students under K-RIC program is to interact with various management enterprises or corporate sectors to understand their potential problems for designing innovative projects to solve them. It is for these projects the students and faculties work together, based on their research interest to innovate and eventually, the best students get picked-up by industries.

To assure hassle-free and time-bound implementation and completion of research activities, a set of Standard Operating Procedures are followed.

K-RIC’s Vision is to ensure that all graduating students of KSM should have a minimum of one research publication indexed in UGC-CARE, SCOPUS, Web of Science, ABDC listed, PubMed journals or innovations protected by Patents/ Copyrights/ Trademarks. Students with research publications in their profile always have an edge over others. It enables them to uniquely position themselves for success, while seeking job or admission for further studies in Ivy League universities. Moreover, by incubating industry-academia projects, K-RIC plans to generate research grants that will create entrepreneurial careers for the students.

The KSM management proactively funds the research programs and encourages its team members by rewarding them for their outstanding contributions in research, projects, and other IP innovations. The management also has plans to provide seed funding for the implementation of best, innovative ideas of students that can be nurtured for entrepreneurship development.
